announcing the arrival of a fascinating body of original artwork by two American artist's, father, Ejnar Hansen(1884 -1965), and son, Jorgen Hansen(1923 -2008.)
Ejnar, a prominent California portrait artist and teacher, along with works exhibited at the Los Angeles County Museum, and his son Jorgen Hansen, who worked primarily in abstracted cubist and sometime expressionist styles, but preferred to paint privately and teach and curate publicly including his work as educational curator of the Santa Barbara Museum. Both were classically trained, and exceptional in the execution of their individual artistic styles.
While the paintings
of Ejnar Hansen's have been exhibited extensively both during and after his lifetime, this will be premiere of the original paintings of
artist Jorgen Hansen,
a never before available body of American cubist/modern paintings at the
master class level.
